Summer Learning Journey Day 2 Similes

What the task is.
Our task was to make 4 similes and post on our blog for the Summer Learning Journey.
How did you find the task.
 I found this task pretty easy because there wasnt much to do and was really easy to make similes
What did you learn new.
I learnt something new bout this task because I only just found out that Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is the fastest woman in the world.
What would you do differently next time.
I would probably add a bit more similes next time and make them a little bit betteer.

Fun Run

On Monday 26th our school had a fun run day which is just cross country with lots of activities such as hurdles and much more that I  can't name because unfortunately I was sick and and still have a sore foot by the looks of they video it looked really fun.

Visitors from the Manaiakalani shools

Yesterday we were more than proud to welcome in visitors from the Manaiakalani schools from Auckland.
The entire school welcomed them in with a powhiri after all of our singing and that they decided to give us a little koha which was a little exciting because it was a drone. After the kairahi leaders gave them a little tour around the school and had a look what we were doing in our class.

All Blacks vs Aussie

On Saturday the 10th of August there was a huge final rugby game Aussies vs the All Blacks The game starts off with the All Blacks kicking so that leave the Aussies with a penalty kick which puts them in the lead by 3 points. Somewhere near 9 mins in Anton Lenert Brown goes in for an intercept but he knocks it on and another Aussie gets the ball and gets tackled by Jack Goodhue and passes the ball to Reece Hodge and he gets a runaway for the first try of the game and score some more points with their whick puts them at 10/0.

Te Reo week 7

Bounce house

On Sunday I went to Bounce house it's somewhere in Kerikeri. When we got I took a peek through the door an saw three inflatable balls I was excited to get in them and bounce around like a maniac. The staff who worked there were really nice and told us a couple of rules that are don't take your shoes and socks into the blue area and not to go on the red lines by the trampolines. As soon we got in I ran straight to the inflatable balls and immediately started bowling over my brother J'mahkus and rolling around the room. A Few minutes later  I started getting bored so I went into the trampoline room and started doing some flips. When our time was up we headed out to the Skate park and got Choc Tops and Frozen Fanta's from McDonald's.

My trip to Auckland

Last week I took a trip to Auckland to go and see my nephews mum because she was very ill with cancer. We made sure that she didn't feel bored and cooked for her my parents took her out to places while I was staying back with the rest of my family that I haven't seen in a long time i couldn't imagine what my parents and her were doing fun things I suppose. When my parents came back they already had plans to go buy new cars so we stayed back for a couple days while my dad and brother went to Palmerston north just to get a car they took a plane the way their and drove six hours back.

Carpool Karaoke T2 2019

On Friday our classrooms had an assembly and one of their items was carpool karaoke but unfortunately i wasn't here because i was sick and couldn't attend for this item. by watching this video it looked like it was fun.

Last week we have been learning and teaching people the ways of kawa of care. Here's a couple of rules that i have learnt.

My week of Fortnite

On a Monday morning we can have free writing of what ever we choose this is mine for today

A couple weeks ago i was playing Fortnite on my PS4 I got a 18 kill win squads in the start of it my brother Jt and my cousin Dezrae died straight away and it was all up to me to get the win. It was kind of a struggle because their were a lot pros and barely any beginners my first place i landed at was Tilted Towers  i killed everyone their and moved on to the next spot i launched up in the air with my rift to go if you don't know what that is it looks like a snow globe that if you shake it it will launch you in the air and form a little whole in the sky My net place was Shifty Shafts and if your wondering every named place starts with the same letter as the first on as soon as i landed i quickly started building because a full squad was rushing me i started to 90's to get the high ground and eventually i took them out one by one and the circle was moving faster as time went past. I had to go back to Tilted Towers and finally it was the last three people left the last people were the hardest i have ever fought in that game they kept shoot me but luckily i had a chug jug and mini shields to heal me up now it was one person left he was pretty much hiding until i rushed him and pulled out my shotgun and pumped him in the head.
