Summer Learning Journey Day 2 Similes

What the task is.
Our task was to make 4 similes and post on our blog for the Summer Learning Journey.
How did you find the task.
 I found this task pretty easy because there wasnt much to do and was really easy to make similes
What did you learn new.
I learnt something new bout this task because I only just found out that Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is the fastest woman in the world.
What would you do differently next time.
I would probably add a bit more similes next time and make them a little bit betteer.

My Little Niece's 1st B-day

On Saturday 3rd of November we were having my little niece's first birthday we had it at the same place where we had my cousin's baby shower. The birthday had a costume party meaning that we all had to come in a costume not all of us had to it was just for fun. I came as a Surfer because i didn't want to come as anything as soon as we drove in all i could see was balloons everywhere as all kinds of colours as well such as Blue, Yellow, Pink, Red, and Purple. as i was walking inside i saw a lot of cool and amazing design for costumes and for face paint the one that i liked the most was my cousin and her boyfriend they had skeleton make up and a blue fairy costume. There was even a bouncy castle inside that's the main thing that blew me away because i was think how did they fit in there but i realised that it hadn't of been blown up at that time. There was all kinds of foods as well i couldn't make my mind up of which one i was going for at lunch but i eventually found out what my favourite food was it was the chicken kebabs. The day went really fast and so we had our final thanking and prayer it was a cool day and really enjoyed everything that was there.

My Holiday

Last Holiday we had a special day for my cousin Rangi Maria. It was so special because it was her very first baby shower we had most of our family there to support her and to find out the gender of the baby. The first thing we had to do is set up all of the food and blow up the balloons with helium. When all of the balloons were blown up i dashed out side and quickly started in hailing all of the helium so i could make a funny voice. Next we started a prayer to thank the lord for this day and to thank the father of the baby his name Chris we enjoy him because he plays the same games with us and he just lives down the hill of us. And finally it was time to find out the gender of the their baby the doctors set up a big black balloon with the color of the gender blue for a boy and pink for a girl my cousin had a pin and was exited for anyone else in the room. "3 2 1 " every one yelped POP by the time it popped to colors came out so we instantly thought it was twins because there was blue and pink. But the actual reveal was the painting on her stomach so she pulled her shirt up and the painting was Moana every started hugging her and saying congratulation. After we found out that if it was a girl it would be Moana and if it was a boy then it would have been super saiyan Goku as a kid we all thought that she already knew the gender because of how long she had to have it on her stomach with out looking at it. Now it was the fun part of the day when we get to play the games all of them were baby related games one of the was we all had a straw and a dummy the rules were that you can't use your hands and only the straw in your mouth. When it would start you had to get the dummy all the way to the end only using the straw our team never won because my two brother had to start it and they kept dropping it we even called for a rematch and still lost. After all of the fun everyone was exhausted and hungry so we had very last prayer to thank the food and then we all dug in i went straight for the ambrosia if you don't know what that is it's yogurt, grapes, Strawberry's, flake chocolate, and grated chocolate on the top. Everyone had a great time but it was time to go home we brought some left overs home because the food was just to good. Thats the end of my holiday hope you enjoyed and hope you had a happy holiday aswell as mine.

pearl jam came to do a concert in hidden leafville once, and the band liked it so much they never left. Now every Friday night, all the people who live in hidden leafville put on their hairy, Red undies and walk their Fox to the town square. Then they sit on the grass, listen to pearl jam play dub step music, and eat burgers.

No one has to go to school in hidden leafville unless they want to. Of course, everybody wants to because Chris brown and vin diesel are two of the teachers. Chris brown teaches sports and vin diesel teaches sports.

One day Chris brown said to vin deisel, “Maybe we should take the students on a field trip.”

“That's a(n) Super fat idea, Chris brown,” said vin diesel. “Let's take them to the most fun place we can think of.”

“But that would be hidden leafville,” said Chris brown.

“You're right!” vin diesel exclaimed. “Call off the field trip! We're already here!”
